December 13, 2007Audrey Hepburn was born on May 4, 1929 in the Belgian city of Brussels, a descendant of a family of aristocrats of Holland, Van Haemstra. His grandfather was a baron in close proximity to the Court. His father was a banker named Joseph Victor Henry Ruston and his mother an aristocrat of Dutch origin. His name, which was christened, was kathleen Edda van Heemstra Hepburn-Ruston.
Prior to the 10 years he lived in the Netherlands until her parents separated in 1939 and went to live in London. He began to study dance and drama at the Marie Rambert School. In those years life was very difficult because of the Second World War that was approaching, and traveled to Holland and then to England, where he began a foray as a small model.
Years later spent most of her time small roles in various films and work corista in some theaters. In 1952 the director William Wyler offered him make Roman Holiday and thereafter became a big ARTIST OF HOLLYWOOD!
